Brumby bonnet cable issue
Went to open the bonnet the other day, pulled the cord and the handle kept coming without opening the bonnet
is there any secret trick to opening the bonnet with that cable apparently stuffed?
help would be really appreciated
Cheers

Another tip
If the Brumby is anything like an L series, I found that I could only see the catch hidden behind that box/plate when my head was directly below the driver's side indicator.
All I had at hand when mine snapped was a builders pencil! No tools at hand to remove the grille. Just happened to snap the @%#^$*# after I noticed the coolant leak 200 K's from home and was making my first stop to check and top up the coolant. Ran the gauntlet and luckily only lost half a litre of so. Was a stressful drive though, waiting for it to cook waay out of phone reception.
(And yes, not surprising that someone calling himself 'Bodge' would consider a pencil an appropriate tool for auto repairs...)

Cheers for that Toonga
and haha bodge that sounds like a couple of my experiences so far in the brumby. Working on the car with a few woodworking tools you could scrounge off a guy down the road from where you broke down in another state, probably not the best of situations haha.
