anyone have a liberty 4EAT TCU?

Hi, wondering if anyone has a TCU out of a AWD auto liberty wreck or from a manual conversion? thanks.

Which model? Gen1 and 2 were different to Gen3 and later

I have a Gen2 Outback TCU

If it suits, i'll drop it off to ya dad or I can post it to ya

Hey Gannon - was just reading Toms conversion thread, sounds pretty good! Theres gonna be a few cool older subes in old macksville now :)

Um, Im really not sure exactly what model but the numbers on it are :

a large 'EE'
then, 31711 AA911
then, A64-000-822

Im after a set of connectors to suit too guys if anyone has an old loom...

I actually have 2

One is a 95 NA Auto

KS
31711 AC544
A64-000-DP3

The other is apparently from an RS Turbo

HV
31711 AC161
A64-000 RX4


I also have the 3 plugs with about 6 inches of wire on them

yeah have a couple spares. what are you trying to use it for? There are different types, even within gen1

PM Gleno and ask him to check the one we removed from his harness (just converted his L) I think it's still in the workshop. It's a Gen1 Ser1 Auto donor car.

Where abouts are the TCU's in libertys, I may have to go hunting at a yard...

I think they were located under the carpet on passenger's feet floor (towards firewall).

nope. he needs a gen1 TCU. they are under the dash mate, behind the ECU. arm yourself with a philips driver to get the trim off, and a 10mm spanner and 10mm 1/4 drive socket to get the TCU and ECU out. 10mm ratched spanner makes it even easier if you have one.

you are looking for a early S1 lib for the part number you are after.
