Congrats, looks like a nice tidy example.
I would advise sourcing an alloy radiator header tank - that original RS plastic one *will* spring a massive leak at some point leaving you stranded on the side of the road with no coolant in your car :) Prevention is better than cure in this case.
Looks like you still have the original GX radiator in it (resulting in 2 radiator caps), but I think it's basically the same as the RS one anyway but just slightly different connections for the header tank. Looks like they've managed to connect it all up anyway tho.

I've had the same radiator set up in my Liberty conversion for 6yrs & it's been fine, looks good with the MY00 WRX wheels, they are actually the lightest wheels Subaru have ever put on WRX etc...................Have fun.

Probably not needed as this model of subi came out with a turbo factory option in these general specs.

All I can say is "Noice!" Love those rims too, I reckon they look awesome. Venom had a set on his lifted liberty that looked the part. He got a set of outback rims after our first outing in the Otways - these rims collect way too much mud inside the rim, causing unbalanced wheels at speed even after scraping all the mud you can get at with a stick out of the way.

Hope you have better luck with this one. May the subi gods be good to you :)

Cheers

nice example you have there mate!! love the gen 1's!!!
just noticed the silver gafa tap on the inlet pipe and no factory BOV, this usually means that pipe is cracked or something!?? would be a good idea to start looking for a new one.

Steptoe and El_freddo, i was familiar with that part of the law and thats why
i wasnt afraid to touch this :D though it does leave a very broad spectrum
of engine swap options lol all the way up to near new STI engines without
cert :D !?

Sven, yeah it sure is, nice and subtle - im putting a VAREX muffler on it this week
i think to keep it quiet too, spray it black also :D
they sure do drive drive that way lol, i love it!

T'subaru, thanx mate, my heart still aches for her :(

Captain obvious, yeah i did notice that myself, i think i MAY have that bit
of pipe at home in a box somewhere with the EJ20G's i have at home....i hope...

Nice find Sam :)

Have fun and she'll look after you. I have a very large soft spot for the Gen1 Ser1. Chuck the RS bonnet and front bar on and she'll look awesome

Cheers,
Paul

So do I! It should be good, I'll treat her like a queen :)

I fit the stock airbox today, I didn't like the cheap pod and
the constant "Dose-ing" at nearly idle.
It looks stock now, how I like it.

I'm just cleaning up the last owners work.
I want to refit the stock blow off valve and
sort out some leaks.

I Just can't get over how comfortable the
velour interior is. It's nice to drive a tight
sedan :)

cheers,
Sam

Sounds like you're going to injoy it :)

BTW.. would you have a spare RH door mirror for a Vortex?
