Post by space jay » Wed Nov 17, 2010 2:05 pm

hey guys i hate to be slagging on a guy that seems to be pretty respected on this site but yes i have pay 710 for a lift kit and yes the payment went through over 2 months ago and he said it would only take 3 weeks to get here but ITS NOT HERE!!
and yes he hasnt replyed to my email on asking where is this kit in a week and a bit...this is bullshit if you ask me!
just want to know if any1 knows where Suby Wan Kenobi is? could be something personal that happened, i dont know but still this is getting to me guys!

subi wan if i am thinking correctly actually runs this forum

and most lift kits are made as a heap instead of one at a time, basically you pay for them and when he has 10 or so orders he will build them

hence why its taken 2 weeeks to get it, as for not actually replying im not sure but i do belive he is not the most computer literate

other than that calm down or put your money where you mouth is before he comes at you with a defamation claim

re-read his post...he is saying it's taken over 2 months.

I would just keep trying to contact him. From what I've heard it's always been very hard to contact the guy. I'm sure there is some kind of explanation (good or not) and you will eventually get your lift kit. Keep trying.
Hoepfully somebody who knows SWK more closely will alert him to your post so he might get back to you.

2 months? Mate you're doing well, I waited longer than that. He's not the greatest on communication but things happen in people's lives that they don't really want to share with others... so don't worry your kit will arrive eventually and once it does you'll be stoked! I had a few things missing from mine when it arrived and he was great at following that up quickly.

Yeah, he is always very busy. took months to get a pm back from him. there must be a good reason.
If he cant supply you it, try RSR555, he will be faster and a bit cheaper too:)
plus he is in WA
This is what he made for a mate. not sure if he will have the time to make others. best to talk to him.

And you pay in full because it is always hard the other way, taking a deposit, producing the goods then finding someone has a financial disaster and take the producer down with them. SWK has been in here a long time and has a good rep. And I know how you feel - you want it all done and dusted before Christmas right?

He doesn't run this site. I own the site and it is run now by the moderators.

space jay, I will be seeing him tomorrow, so I will let him know that there is a kit missing in action and get him to sort it out.
