Strange that it's the same on both engines.. more likey some that attaches to it.. ie AFM, Fuel Filter, Blocked Cat or similar

Jules mentioned you may have cleaned your air filter? is it one that you oil after cleaning?

Its got pod filter...
Ive put new Knock sensor on it and that has seem to have fixed the power problem and timing sound... gotta wait till the morning to see if the idling problem is solved
But it is still slightly surging for power through the rev range... i mean it revs to 6k now easily were before it struggled to get over 4k lol
So now im on to the surging problem which from what i have read could be alot of things... MAF.. TPS.. O2 sensor.. or fuel problem

was the pod filter oiled?, or is it meant to be oiled when cleaned?

as from what Ive read on the board, the oil can cause problems with the all air sensors
(they end up with a fine coating of oil and give bad readings)

Yeah nah i havent put any oil on for that kind of reason...
From what i have read.. its more than likely O2 sensor or TPS
I done another Diagnositc test and it came back clear.. but there is still a definite surge there
