All MY FWD manuals 5 speed?

Post by steptoe » Sun Oct 17, 2010 8:19 pm

Or was there a 4 speed FWD manual in the 79- 84 series?

AFAIK the 5 speed only came out in the coupes. I haven't looked at the sedan 2wds but I'd imagine they had a front wheel drive 4 speed...

I always thought it depended on the model specification, as the DL sedan had the four speed while the GL used the five speed.

I seem to remember the GL sedan was released after the coupe and was really the equivalent in specification.

Did the DL sedan last until the L Series introduction?
