Haha, are they taking the piss? Interesting idea tho, practicality over silly features. Some of the qoutes on there are pretty funny.

"Mediocrity Power Package offers both cup holders and air conditioning for those who like to dream big and live large."

EDIT: I almost fell for it haha, then noticed it was more expensive than the legacy, and realised its just a marketing thing.

Yup, they're definatly takin the piss :)

It says in the features, front/rear drum brakes! My braking is bad enough with drums on the rear, id hate to think what its like with them on all four corners haha.
But yeh, very clever tool.

Door handle....... mirror......... TYRE! The whole package!!!!

I didn't quite get why the address was still subaru.com until I found the Fight Mediocrity campaign. Very clever. And also very true, particularly for Australia. All we see is mid size sedans, thats what everyone produces. High demand I guess....

Its Subaru's new marketing strategy, if you look around long enough youll see.
Theres links everywhere that redirect you to Subaru's new liberty (its the US site so Legacy). So its a comparo between the bland mediocre Camry/GWM SA500 looking thing and the new Liberty.
