Clutch Cable goes snap on the Brumby!
Went to jump in the ute for work this morning, started in neutral, went to put it into reverse - snap - and clutch straight to the floor.
Checked the cable and the nub on the end that attached to the lever on the bell housing had snapped off.
I've ordered a new one, should be at home tonight when I get home from work.
I've not done a clutch cable before - looks fairly straight forward - anything I need to be aware of that may trip me up?
Thanks Lads.

Bloody Oath!!!!!! - just finished doing it ( some dry weather) - the whole time I'm under the steering wheel cursing the 4 foot 2 inch Japanese midget contortionist with tiny hands that put my ute together - that is not a place for anyone 6 foot or over.dwayneb wrote: The hardest part is trying to contort yourself to get under the dash to connect the peddle end.
Job done - beer time!

Your lucky that you're local!
I had to drive a wagon without clutch & dead battery from Bendigo to Geelong (was over 200kms) and was gear crunching/rev matching etc, the worst part was stalling and not being able to restart without rolling start lucky it was late noon/evening on saturday and traffic was 95% straight thru!!
Cheers
