Are all SOHC t/belts the same?
Are all SOHC t/belts the same?
Hi, I've just ordered a timing belt from ebay that says it fits ej18,20,22,25 SOHC etc.
But when I got it and measured it against the belt from my EJ20 it was way longer. Did they send me a DOHC belt or are there actually different length SOHC belts and I just bought the wrong one???
Might sound like a dumb question but I just need to confirm so I get my full refund.

i guess they the same, i know the DOHC ones from beginning to bout 2000 are same.
they are longer and they have 5 lines on them two sets of 2 lines about 150mm apart (for the right and left banks of 2 pulleys and between them a line for the crank.
DOHC ones are hars to get in aus for less than $100, so sell it or sell it fitted

"UNDERSTEER" is when you hit the fence with the front of the car.
"OVERSTEER" is when you hit the fence with the rear of the car.
"HORSEPOWER" is how fast you hit the fence.
"TORQUE" is how far you take the fence with you.

If it works, pull it apart to see why.
