G'day all,
I'm just wondering what opinions you might have on this type of LSD? (viscous type).
I've heard that they aren't very good compared to clutch type LSDs.
Any thoughts?
Cheers,
Liberty VLSD, worth the effort in L-series?

Ive got VLSD in my Liberty, VLSD acts like open diff until it starts spinning then it locks up, i find it handy offroad or muddy areas.. such as today i was trying to reverse a trailer up slight wet grassy hill and i noticed the rears locked up and i had 3 wheel spin (2 rears and one front) but obviously LSD did help.
Clutch Pack LSD are better than VLSD.
Even better is welded diff but terrible on bitumen surface (too hard).
Cheers
