Thieving bastards
Some prick broke in to all our cars last night and helped themselves to our stuff. They got in to my car and took my wallet with a decent sum of money in it, my mobile, the face of my radio, my hand set for the Microtech and a few other bits and pieces.
They got in to my daughters Lib and took all her cd's and the face from her cd player.
My mates truck that he leaves here at night was also hit but he only lost his rollies.
Megans car was busted in to and she lost some cash and cd's.
Time to get another dog, but one that bites this time I think.

I know exactly how that feels. It got me right pissed off at the time and I was worried about my car's security for weeks.
That thought has crossed my mind stinky, it's not all that expensive anymore to set up a surveillance system, eBay's got some good deals.

im terribly sorry to say this, but lets be realistic here.
im going to say that the slimebag that did this, lurks on these forums.
probably has had everything snuffed out, and went for it.
im truly sorry to hear about this dreadful act, Brett. I hope you and your family recover from this very quickly.
i've experienced several break ins with various cars, as im sure many other people have also experienced it at some degree, but it is truly one of the more testing times in life where you have to sort out everything again just to get back on track.
if there is anything i/we could do, don't hesitate to ask.

pricks theiving your possessions is bloody upsetting..and there getting more brazen too...bloody young kids are the worst...
suffered break-ins here, had a dual pentium m/c knocked off, got alarm after that.
had keys knocked off twice at the beach, lst time used it to enter the car, and got a watch ($200). last time just 2weeks ago, just took my whole bag, walked off with it the bastards..keys, clothes,towel...i mean WTF?
Broke into me own place - no keys, !!found out it was too easy...
Yeah, changed my home locks again! - so even tho they didn't get much,
lol, the sunnies were hugely scratched, so not a good score there....
the hidden cost is there, key change, clothes, i guessall up $70 for this minor incident........
So this epidemic is everywhere, and its going to get much worse for us all.....as built public areas, shopping centers, shops, parking stns, railways all have more surveillience and security, the morons are moving onto our homes etc....
yes stinky we need to start putting in surveillance too
where the fk does it end?
Probably wrecked your key locks with a screw driver hey, Bret? you'll be pissed off with that too...not just knock stuff off, but all the damage they do

i now keep valuable things to a minimum in my car. heck its a charade, probably open it with a paddle pop stick!!
i keep burnt cds in the car, with the originals at home.
cd player face - keep with me. its a chore, but its a necessity.
appearance of car has remained stock, and will be keeping it so.
any modification i actually do, i try to keep as standard and as unappealing as possible.
i guess its harder with your individualistic subarus!
fred/chris/subarino - is there anyway possible of incorporating a car alarm with:
a) a tank of N2O in the car with a solenoid/jet that actually squirts incabin (used as a sedative)?
b) a controller for an electric fence, connecting to everything thats metallic on the car? nothing like a good shock

It's just today's society. No respect for others .. in any way .
Sorry to hear about it.
Just Bastards
I dont want to think of the stuff that has been stolen from me, or destroyed by "other people" but all I can do is choose not to let it get to me too much ( easier said than done) If you believe in karma,... what goes around.... ( after my factory was torched by my opposition, he was done big time for drug dealing
)
Maybe to have a self closing / locking gate at the front by remote control and a electric fence activated from the closure of the gate. ( and hidden isolater switch for when you want it dissarmed) Probably not that expensive to set up. ( particularly using Jaycar bits and second hand car electricals )
I have been thinking about a marine version of the electric fence , for my cruiser
but knowing my luck, they'd fall off and drown then I'd be in the s**t. ( although it would send a powerfull message to keep the **** off!)
Hope you get some leads mate

Something suss is going on. There was a bloke parked at the end of mum and dads road when I came home last night (about 9pm). Shortly after that, when I was actually lying in bed the dog went burko and started growling and carrying on. My car is usually left open with keys in it, but I'd like to see someone get past the dog and the bat I start swinging when she goes off. My bedroom is about 3 steps from my car.

Keep an eye out if you are local to Caboolture. Talking to the cops the other night the crims have been hitting this area in a big time lately. It was due to another B&E that my wallet was found. The cops were on another "job" just down the road from here (3 mins drive) this week when they happened to look down the drain they were standing on and spotted my wallet in the bottom of it.
Electric fence here now should see them very sore for their effort. Stuff 'em I reckon. If they intend on breaking in to any thing here again then they get was is due.
