2010 Tribeca

Post by BlueEyes » Fri Jun 04, 2010 6:23 pm

Hi,

Took delivery of 2010 Tribeca today and have seen quite a few nice aftermarket accessories overseas but cannot for the life of me find anything of interest in Australia (specifically WA). Anyone know of anyone dealing in gear for this vehicle? Sidesteps, nudge bars, cargo liners..... anything.

Thanks

I guess you're pushing into new territory for this forum?

Mate,

I am not sure how many Tribeca owners there are in the forum, but I'm tipping less than 10...

I myself own a Forester and even such a popular model has a limited number of participants around. Most people have older model Subarus and a good number modify them heavily to take them off-road.

But don't be put off by that, there is a LOT of excellent advice and really good people here. What are your plans for the Tribeca? Will you take it off-road?

Done a quick search for Tribeca Nudge Bar and this came up:

SubaXtreme is very popular amongst Forester owners and I will eventually go with their gear on mine. For the Tribeca, there's no photos at this stage, but might pay off giving them a ring...

Hope you enjoy your Subaru experience!

Cheers,
Pedro.

Geez Sven 2 bit uncalled for. Thanks Pedro for the heads up, it appears USA and Europe do plenty for the Tribeca but poor old Aus doesnt. Oh well its either wait or import I guess.

Thanks

Just bought a new Tribeca MY11 the other day. How do I connect my IPod?

read the manual or ask the dealer you bought it from?

In my wife's forester there is an auxiliary plug in the centre console, right above the Ipod shaped space (under the arm rest) for the Ipod. I would assume there is a 3rd party cable available that connects the two.

otherwise if your Ipod is bluetooth compatible check the manual to see if the stereo on the Tribeca is bluetooth compatible.
