In the tray like this one?brumbyrunner wrote:I've looked into this for a while but with my racecar taking precedence over all other car projects, I've had to wait.
It's certainly do-able but the biggest headache is where to put the radiator.
There are 3 methods that have been used that I know of and they all have their drawbacks.
1. The horizontal above the engine like a Humvee (subarubrat.com)
2. In front of the grille, behind the bullbar,
3. In the tray.
None of these solutions are what you'd call "practical".
That's definitely the neatest one around and you can see why it wouldn't get hot but I would prefer something less vulnerable and less obvious. No disrespect to Steve, he does some great stuff.sven '2' wrote:In the tray like this one?
Works extremely well - never once overheated even doing high rev low speed sand work.
Still had room for cargo (save the LPG tank)

Link to the above - sweetbrumbyrunner wrote: 1. The horizontal above the engine like a Humvee (subarubrat.com)
