leaking electric sunroof? somebody please help

i have a 91 liberty gx 2wd auto with factory fitted electric sun roof.i had it repaired 2 years ago at mr windscreens. preston melbourne what they did was remove the sliding rails and replaced the black stuff it sits on to stop water leaking into the car.the drain holes are not blockedi have checked them it seems to be comming in to the headlineing on passenger side, side of rooof. question is can i put that silicone stop leak stuff in a tube, around the bottom of the rails to stop the leak.any other help would be appreciated..cryoung...........
