According to the FSM, 1.447:1 with a 4.111:1 final drive

Something else interesting i found in the Gen3 Liberty/Outback FSM
2.0L Dual Range models got a 1.447:1 low range
2.5L Dual Range models got a 1.196:1 low range

I didnt know this.

It should also be noted that the 2.0L has a 3.9:1 final drive and the 2.5L has a 4.111:1 (3.7:1 outside Australia) final drive
Current rides: 2016 Mitsubishi Triton GLS & 2004 Forester X
Ongoing Project/Toy: 1987 RX Turbo EA82T, Speeduino ECU, Coil-pack ignition, 440cc Injectors, KONI adjustale front struts, Hybrid L Series/ Liberty AWD 5sp
Past rides: 92 L series turbo converted wagon, 83 Leone GL Sedan, 2004 Liberty GT Sedan & 2001 Outback

correct..

The lower the better ie. 1.59:1 in L Series etc..
1.19:1 is almost useless..

Plain English Dibs you should be ok if your not doing a lot of hard tracks
If there is any good runs coming up from the club:rolleyes:that suit the low range i'll let you know
You can see for your self and make up your own mind if you want to put the l-series low in it
You could always give (grewi forum name) bill (in the club) a ring he lives near you next door nearly he loves going off road there's plenty of tracks up at Glasshouse send him a pm or give him a ring he is in the members list.
