Not sure about on the L's but on the MY's it was only ever meant as a temporary thing, not long term, I've heard of sagged torsion bars, etc from from using it too long.
I tried it on mine, all 4 wheels ran on about 20mm of the outside edge of the tyre, in about 100km it scrubed em bald, was not impressed.
On top of that if your suspension isn't 100% it'll handle like a wet sponge.
All you can really do is try it, if it doesn't cost you anything whats the loss.
Take it for a spin round the block, check your camber, caster and anything else to make sure nothing is out of whack then make your decision.
