bearing swapping engine tensioners

Post by spike » Wed Feb 10, 2010 8:52 pm

ok pics to go up soon
i have one set of engine tensioners for sale.
with these its possible to change theinner bearing that cost about 7 dollars instead of a lump of steel that cost over 100$ to change each time.
at the moment the deal is a swap, old parts for new and total cost is currently 133$ inc. plus postage and handling

pm me if your interested.

One problem I found with the idler on EA82 on LHS was I could not get bearing to press in squarely. You got that beat?

we have it all beat.
the bearings are standard off the shelf for 7$ or so, as the shaft is straight there should be no porblems with the bearing going on
