Hi everyone,
I've just realised that my recent purchase (Liberty ski fx LX wagon 1996) is supposed to have central locking which on my car is definitely not working.
Are there some obvious gotchas to check before checking out motors etc..
I'm wondering whether there are relays or fuses I could check before getting into in-depth electrical diagnosis?
I'd forgotten what a pain having no central locking can be - especially with my four month old boy!
Cheers

I would check if there is power going to the locks, you'll have to remove the door trims and check the connectors, it could be something simple ie. fuse or something, I am not sure if you have genuine or after market locking system in yours.

fried
iv got the same car.. but my locking has fried ever since i bought it... it locks and unlocks itself randomly and makes a slight siren sound(very quiet and quick hard to tell what it is) when i go over speed bumps and close the doors.. i think my best option is to replace the hole thing.
