A/C Serial Number

Post by iananita » Wed Dec 16, 2009 10:57 am

Can someone with a Gen 1 Liberty 2.2EJ post the serial number of their a/c compressor. The sticker is on the front pulley, mine has over spray on it. I can see it is a ND Denso but can not read all the numbers. I need a new compressor and they all ask for this number.
Thanks

My L's EJ22 was from a '91 liberty, so I presume its a gen 1. Anyway, the numbers are:

Top line: 047300 - 6400
Bottom line: 12 V 8L

Hope this helps.

Cheers

Good luck - can it be reconditioned? Or look out for a second hand unit?

What happened to yours anyway?

Cheers
