Turbo L stirs up a mitsu FTO :)

Post by steptoe » Sun Oct 18, 2009 12:02 pm

It was wet, the traffic lights were as RED as the Mitsubishi FTO, stopped on the line and there was an empty pole position just waiting for me to roll up to, shoving it into 4WD as the lights changed for the better and I gave it my best shot stirring up of the little screamer FWD in the wet. It took him a while to leave me in his spray. It was fun - just that moment. ha ha

I love doing it to SS C'dores, XR8's etc in the wet with the XT Foz.

They always scream past 200m down the road at illegal speeds as I back off once I've reached the posted limit, having a little chuckle to myself.

I don't street race - ever!

I do have some fun sometimes, getting away from the lights quickly; however always only to the posted speed limit. If the guy pulls up at the next lights and wants to have another go, I always just let them go and pull away slowly, so as not to encourage further stupid driving.

Trust me - I have a very effective "tool" that eliminates any thoughts of racing - a wife with a quick and strong backhander if she feels I am partaking or encouraging stupid behaviour.
