G'day, Welcome disco - sorry if we made feel unwelcome in here, but please don't feel like that mate!!!!!! As some of us didn't know the story above, at first i cringed and until you said above then now I understand, fair enough, I'm not taking any sides, its your Brumby - you do whatever you want with it!!

But again, Brumby is like "Limited Edition" of Subarus, I always drool/want one and it really annoys me everytime i want one but no $$$

Anyway..... What other plans do you have with it?
Cheers & Good Luck!

Ithat brumby looks great - gloss black would have been better but hey saw it advertised and thought hmmmmmmm looks good why so cheap now we know why still a bargain at that price most brumbys go for 3500 -5000 here in WA I know I wouldn't sell mine for less than 5K now I have the disc brake rear end

as for the jammed 4wd try driving in reverse and belting the lever down as you go backwards you can even try bunny jumping in reverse doing the same thing it may pop out of 4WD

I suspect the shudder is coming from the drive train because of the constant strain on the box and diff

Or the tail shaft has been bent slightly!

Work it up - you'll eventually get the problems sorted!

Yeah well, who's to say that he doesn't continue to read this forum??

Maybe he needed to offload quickly - we just don't know unless they share that info with us. How do you know this anyway?

Cheers
