Fuel Starving?

Post by Tozzy » Sun Oct 11, 2009 11:50 am

Hi guy's. Been a member before but been away. Need some help.

I have an 89 Brumby and is stock engine 135,000k's. When I accelerate hard it dies in power and when I back off throttle pedal it gains revs and power.

Recently had it tuned and all OK. Cannot get it to go wrong when a mechanic is around. Checked fuel filters. New plugs and leads.

Any ideas?

i wood replace the fuel filter first and maybe it mite be a fuel pump or some clud in the tank at the pick up pint or some clud in the carbie if it was me i wood start with the fuel filter first and go from there .
