Actually, this post reminded me of something potentially dumb I was going to ask a while back.
Has anyone had a look at running the Ford air cleaner assemblies? IE off a Cortina or Falcon? I know they're a bit on the large size but perhaps one can fit?
Was thinking of it for myself along the lines of a snorkel setup but perhaps there's a model that sits down over the edges of the carb?

Time for a lift kit mate

Monster Subaru sold to a good home!! Still a Subaru owner. Will try stay in the Ausubaru loop. Sorry

Yes I thought about doing this and I dont think its so dumb. The 2l Escort one would be a good call - they ran a 32/36 DGAV Weber. I used to throw these things out all the time when I had Escorts - and now I would not mind one to see how it would gotim_81coupe wrote:Actually, this post reminded me of something potentially dumb I was going to ask a while back.
