Can i use std unleaded petrol in this vehicle ( premium not available in some out back sites)

If you keep your tank diluted, ( fill it with premium, then when its half full, and you have the chance, put enough normal unleaded in to get you to the nearest premium fuel station) you should be ok.
I believe the worst it will do is go into limp mode and power will be reduced

When travelling between Darwin and the rest of the world, I would always take some octane booster with me and use it on re-fills where no premium was available. Between Darwin and Sydney, I'd normally take 3 bottles per trip. This seemed to be sufficient.
It used to amaze me some of the out-of-the-way places that did have premium, though.
