60 mins, mobile phone and driving
Just hope there is a few drivers out there waching tonights segment on just how good ya driving gets while talking on the phone, handsfree just as bad
Granted but what is worse is now people stop in the worst places to answer their phones always after blind corners etc or busy traffic I mean how hard is it to pull OFF the road, What I do if it has to be answered is hit the answer button and pull into the first side street (when driving round town)!

We were in Coffs Harbour one night about 8:30 and coming up to a round-about was a SUV with its hazards on, stopped just infront of the roundabout entry. We thought 'must be broken down, we'll pull up beside it and see if they want help'. So we slowly drove past and there was a woman talking on her phone.
IDIOT!!! What a stupid place to pull up!

They also say that talking to passengers and listening to the radio is just as bad. If these people had their way you'd have to drive around with duct tape on your passengers mouths, no radio, and no other form of communication. Hell, the horn is probably distracting too so that'd have to go...
Of course talking with the phone to your ear blocks half your vision, prevents one hand from being used, and distracts you. I always put my phone on speaker mode with it in my lap, which I think makes it roughly similar to talking to a passenger in the car.
