Tacho connection on Ej conversion...

Post by vladrulli » Mon Oct 17, 2005 6:49 pm

I asked about this on the old forum but now all the info on that subject has been lost... :(

you guys were saying that I should connect the GL tacho to the ground wire of the ignitor or something like that... my ej20t has separate coils on each spark-plug... should I connect the tacho to one of those or what? :?

ewww... wire on the ignitor... bad bad.

There is a tacho wire on the ECU. Hook it to the tacho input wire of the gauge and it should work. Get a hold of an ECU pinout diagram for your ECU.

My ej22 ECU hooked directly to my GL dash with no problems.
