spotted in the us
Last friday on my way home I had a Holden merge onto the freeway. If I'm not mistaken in black lettering it said "Jackaroo" on the rear quarter panel after the Holden chrome lettering. Would have liked to get a better look at it as I have seen them mentioned on this site often, but traffic was 4 lanes of stop and go ( mainly stop ) for several miles. In my mirrors at a distance it resembles our Isuzu Troopers and a bit of Internatonal.

ha ha, definately a jack up a roo... rh drive and all. An Isuzu eh, it caught my eye as being a bit different than what i've seen before. I tell ya, the way people drive in wash state there is no specific place our steer wheels should be:). I hope the good people of OZ have a better grip on driving than we do.

Not really... The Subaru Big Horn (or Trooper) had more to do with Isuzu and Subaru working together rather than GM. Remember the Subaru plant in the US started as a joint venture between Subaru and Isuzu well before GM purchased its stake in Subaru.mattw wrote:And one for the wiki researchers out there, apparently one of GM's brainwaves while they owned a chunk of Subaru was to sell Jackaroos rebadged as Subies in the states to fill the gap for an SUV, which the Tribeca now fills.
Scary but true.
