EA82T spider timing pointers - NLA
I cannot find the post where I quoted a part number for the spider manifold timing pointer for the front of the engine timing, I also said I was told they were still available at about $10 each. Well, I put in my order ex Japan and nothing came of it, checked up a few times and still nothing, assuming they are No Longer Available

If you are talking about for an L Series I wouldn't bother with the front pointer , you can see the timing marks on the flywheel with all the spider gear in place anyway .
Also it's more accurate using the flywheel marks because its larger in diameter than most crankshaft pulleys . By this I mean the larger radius means greater accuracy because for the same degrees of rotation the pointer shows a greater distance at the larger diameter .
I wouldn't like to be doing the cam timing off the crank pulley .
Cheers A .
