That's nothing... Drive it out... Might need a polish and a vacuum out before he hands it back to his mate though, otherwise he might smell a rat (or more likely some crabs and jelly fish).

Yeah I seen that in todays paper as well, we had the inlaws over today, and the Farther inlaw said when he seen it in the paper "was that our car" should have seen the dirty look my wife gave him, LOL

aww

thats really sad
that looked like the owner really looked after it aswell
then his mate sinks it.

if my mate did that to my l series
he'd end up with 2 broken legs and a broken jaw.
(im serious!!!!!)

I'd be more interested to know the lead up to that sad tale . Was the thing bogged before it got the free wash or did he get hemmed in by a rising tide ?

I was nearly caught a couple of times in a hired Land Rover many years ago up there , not from getting bogged though .

Hint , don't go there with a giggly inebriated girl because you need to keep at least one eye on the driving and the other on the tide ...

Challenging place , cheers discospud .

"this isn't where I parked my car!"

Hmm... shame about the subi - I'd be mega pissed, but then again my mate wouldn't have my subi on the other side of the country un-insured without me being there!!! That other article about the bobcats bogged with the 4wd missing its bull bar is funny but not, I feel for the owner of the two bobcats, hope he had insurance!

Cheers
