
Popped the hood, reached down and pulled out the inspection bung, slid finger into hole and....belt is ok.

Oh no! computer must have died!

Turn ignition on, fuel pump fires up, motor winds over and BANG BANG BANG from exhaust.

Hmmmmm....seized/bent a valve? Wound motor over by hand, compression on all four pots, so valves are ok.

Scratch head, mumble mumble mumble....problem in dissy? Pulled dissy cap off and hello? what's this? A small screw? reached down to pick it up and....rotor moves. Pull off rotor, and there's a hole in the side of it. Look at dissy shaft, there's a tapped hole to match.
Smiling like an idiot, put rotor back on, put screw back in hole, dissy cap on, turn key and.....It fires right up.

A bloody 20cent screw stopped the whole car. Go figure.
