K and N Filter for carby EA82

Post by openflame06 » Sun May 17, 2009 7:12 pm

I just looked up a panel filter and its shown as http://www.knfilters.com/search/product ... od=33-2615

For the 92 L series. I'm just wondering if thats right as the filter on the carby is like circular and goes around the top of the carburettor.

Or - am i thinking this goes in a place that it shouldnt?

Thanks.

Nope thats not the right filter.

I really wouldnt bother with a K&N for a carby L series, the factory air filter actually has a fair bit of surface area and probably flows quite well for a 85hp engine. Just replace the paper one regularly.

Yeah that was my next question. I think i'll just get a K and N for my EFI telstar its actually worth doing in that case it seems.
