Liberty Wagon Rear Cargo Window Seals

Post by egas » Thu Feb 26, 2009 7:38 pm

I want to know how to get the rubber/steel seals that cover the join between the rear side cargo windows and the bodywork ( at the bottom of the window) off. I am inclined exert pressure but thought I would enquire. These are the seals that hold dirt and moisture and I have noticed very minor surface rust and want to get at it.

It is a 92 LX Wagon.

Thanks in advance for any advice

Thanks for that - I wanted to confirm with someone that had done it before I went and stuffed it up - its for my daughters Liberty, she has upgraded from her 83 Wagon which has a 3" lift kit, and I am thinking of keeping the old one for myself.
