WRX GC8 gearbox ratios

Post by SUBIIE » Wed Feb 25, 2009 8:35 pm

Hi team,

I need to fit a rear diff to my half cut that i have installed in my brumby.

As Jap delivered half cuts dont have dates on them i assume the half cut i got was a 1996.

Therefore, what ratio would a GC8 wrx rear diff need to be?

cheers

p.s. i dont want to count all the teeth on the flywheel!
1992 'Annivesary' Subaru Brumby, amp-6x9"'s-kevlar 6"'s-tweeters, power windows, and a 1995 WRX EJ20t engine finally installed, engineered and blue slipped. Wow, try and catch me up the mountain!

The gearbox code is a white sticker just above the starter motor.
