who sells silicone pipes in Perth cheap?

Post by steptoe » Thu Feb 05, 2009 10:06 am

found a website of someone in Perth selling silicon intercooler pipes , 2.25" 90' bend to be precise, and lost them. The piece was only about $13 with a brand name can't put my tongue on at the moment. Came up on google yesterday, today all I get are hoses twice the price. I thought the Perth co may have been excessive in postage as the weight of the hose was listed as 3kg. Thought it was worth enquiring

Yer i usually bang'n on about something when i am on here.

Without more info Jonno (link a web addy or Co name something i may not be able to help).

There is a place up near me (in Wangara) however they are a little costly, they are excellent help and very friendly/usefu just a little $$$. The place i got my stuff from may also not sell silicone hoses, i think mine are like this thick quality rubber (i can take a pic of an off cut bit if you like) i'll have to attempt to dig out their details for you (i only remember where it was not what the place was called).
Toyota 105 Series LandCruiser (that nobody on here wants to really hear about).

RX Project - will be road only at this stage (and currently taking way to long to finish).

Auto One (just the Osborne Park franchise) used to supply a huge range of them for cheap, they had a big supplier's book for them and could get anything that was listed in there. Was a few years ago when I found that out so I don't know if they still do.

fruitless as in nothing, or not what you need?

My found the name of the seller my brother used, datop1

I just searched "silicone" in "cars, bikes, etc" and found all these...

Don't forget a lot of these sellers don't list their whole range, send them a message of what you want and I'm sure you'll get a reply.

oh also a good idea to check through a few Liberty and WRX forums....infact any car performance orientated one. People on there buy heaps of silicon bends all the time. Actually another good reason to check these types of forums is for silcon bend group-buys which happen from time to time.

I have a good friend how imports direct and is selling silicone pipe cheap as chips... He sells everything from straight pipe (all sizes) to any type of bend you can think off (no joke). The stuff is not high quality (drag racing stuff) but is oil & fuel resistant and I have never had any dramas with the bits I have brought from him. I'm at work at the moment but can grab his details and post them you for you all.

Thanks. I got mine on order from previous supplier who I had lost details at time of posting.

Seen a guys Skyline all kitted out with silicone vacuum hoses he bought from ripco and he was spitting ...suddenly ran like a dog as the alleged vacuum hose was going limp from either the vacuum or the heat or both!
