EOI: rear L sway bar and arms

Post by steptoe » Tue Jan 27, 2009 3:07 pm

I take it that this is still appropriate as I am not yet offering these for sale, if and when I do I should / shall enter them in correct section.

Would there be any interest for rear L series factory sway bar from an auto RX. I have it and rear swing arms that have the factory mounts and captivated nuts, so would make fitting up easier, the stubs are still there. The arms have had the brakes removed and chucked (learned how to deactivate the self adjusters on the first one so the second came easy) and as they stand weigh 6.5 kilos each. Freighting around the countryside could be a bit pricey. The bar itself not weigh much.

Has anyone fitted a rear bar to their L and found any real benefit or detractions?

Is it from an AWD RX or Front Drive?

Oh, I missed some detail. It was 4WD auto sedan. So, I guess it is no good for anyone with a front wheel drive L unless they got somewhere to hand the rear swing arms ...correct name is inner arm assy the one that is at 45 degrees, has brakes bolt to it.....
