EA82T replacement clutch

Post by LTurbo » Wed Dec 03, 2008 7:01 pm

Just wondering if any one can recommend a clutch to replace a standard EA82T one? Or are all the ones from the major brands essentially the same?

At the moment I am looking at getting a exedy clutch.

The car will be making standard power, or perhaps running a couple psi more.
Cheers

I can attempt to see if i have the brand of my clutch however i brought it in a kit form and therefore may not have the paperwork anymore.
Toyota 105 Series LandCruiser (that nobody on here wants to really hear about).
RX Touring Wagon - fitted out for 4WDing (currently collecting dust).
RX Project - will be road only at this stage (and currently taking way to long to finish).

Exedy does seem to be the most popular off-the-shelf solution for EA-82T. I've only heard good things from people who've run them on standard EA-82T motors.

Thanks guys, I may as well go with the exedy clutch then.
If you could find out what the clutch is your running (if your happy with it), that would be helpful BlackMale.
