Suby in the sand

hey all thinking of going upto stockton beach for some sand dune action,
i have a stock l series, ea82. any reccomendations before going up, how do you think itd go up there? what PSI would you set the tyres to, and whats some general advice with the suby in the sand and going up dunes. cheers.

I would recommend dropping presure to 18psi before you venture onto the sand ,if you should get stuck you can then let another 8psi out , but be very carefull at that lower presure that you dont go making any sharp turns at any speed or you will pull the tyre off the bead.

take a shovel and a few ~2m lengths of light weight timber (i used to use some fascia board)

you can dig yourself out to an extent, then use the timber to get some tgraction under your wheels and get you moving again.
