5sp low-range V GT Auto

Post by Pitman » Sat Sep 27, 2008 1:03 pm

G'day,
I currently drive an 01 Forester with 80mm lift (scorpian body lift and kings springs). She goes remarkably well off-road however I'm longing for more ooomph around town. A similar year GT auto is very appealing to me and I'm just wondering members thoughts on how they would compare in the off-road stakes - assuming I raise the GT with the same gear? I'm mainly playing in the sand up DI, Moreton and Fraser.
Cheers!

I think it would be a great machine to play in. You need to talk to Vincent Vega though, he has built the ultimate off-road auto.

The auto's are mint in the sand , I have an 1991 liberty converted to turbo awd auto and it goes pretty much anywhere ,been through some of the really soft stuff on fraser without much trouble at all.
