My front brake pads are just about shot, and im pretty sure the rotors need machining again. I am thinking it might be a good time to upgrade to RS front brakes?
As far as i understand it, all i need is the calipers, a set of pads, rotors and backing plates?
I would like to hear from anyone running the 2pot brakes with a standard GX booster, as I have heard you can run the standard booster but you end up with a long pedal due to the extra volume of fluid in the 2 pots?
Also should i be buying brand new rotors? If i can pick up a set of calipers and backing plates, and fit new pads and rotors then i should end up with something that will last a while i hope. My current fronts were machined 30,000kms ago and they are shuddering again already.

Brakes
You just need the calipers and discs, no backing plates required, they are the same. No issues either re booster, the RS twin spots work fine on the GX and on L series with standard booster aswell. As you are probably well aware there are plenty of these up for grabs on the RS forums when they go for the 4 pots.
