Anyway, I guess carlie could make a gen 1 brumby with a gen 1 EJ22 and her old school brumby... Plans, ideas???

I got rounds plus a trip to hotham for the next few weeks - will hold me back from having a look around
I'll have to live vicariously through the rest of you if you don't mind...

Vortex Turbo was the only EFI at Centre Road atm.heath wrote:let me no if there are any efi l series i need the cvs for my conversion
Yep correct, just visited today with Suberman.dfoyl wrote:16-8 Centre Road had:
White MY wagon
2wd Vortex
Blue MY coupe with grey interior, slanted dash console, fair doors but rust in rear qtr
Impreza RX in white dolled up to look like a WRX
Sherpa - don't recall the colour
And the usual L's...

Thats right, we did go to Jolly's. Found sump gaurd on L series but it didnt look right to me - I think it was modified with bigger holes hence its weak.. Couldnt find another one, only had 2 L series, 1 MY, and 15 Libertys.El_Freddo wrote:So, you'll be after:
Sump guard,
L series Low range
Coil suspension struts
Don't forget to look out for a lift kit too - not that you'd find one for a liberty at the wreckers, but you never know eh?

Saw a sumpguard at Jolly's. Can't remember what it was on, maybe l series sedan, but it was too thin, and Alpine Raven didn't think much of it.El_Freddo wrote:So, you'll be after:

If its a turbo its possibly unfortunatly not mate. The cup size is larger as is the ball cage and this may not fit onto the older MY drive shaft axle. If the ball cage spline fits an older MY shaft spline you're in business. The only way to find that out would be to pull a set down in the yard, fit them to the MY shaft (ball cage and cup for the inner CV) - probabily not an easy task.heath wrote:is the vortex cvs the same as l series ones need them for my ej conversion. and need them now te cars waitin for them it has the engine an box in it so need them to drive
El_Freddo wrote: ...Fair enough about the L low range. Personally I think I'd do it after having the L. I tell you what suberman, I'll swap you my L low range for your EJ22
Welcome Aaron,AD7 wrote:G'day Guys,
I've got myself a '91 Liberty Wagon and want to change out the seats in it.
I'm chasing WRX seats or leather Liberty seats so if anyone is digging around wreckers and spot some I'd be keen to hear about them.
I've been keeping a look out on ebay but there hasn't been a lot about.
Anyone had any dealings with http://www.gotitrex.com.au?
Also does anyone know if later model door trims will fit the S1 Libs.
Cheers
