Anyone up for Deni?

Post by tex » Sun Aug 17, 2008 4:58 am

I know the Deni ute muster topic was raised ealier this year but at the time I wasn't planning on being in the country back then but now I will be back just in time and curious who else was going this year for the 10th aniversary my brumby got a fair bit of attention last year and even got a picture of some random bloke infront of it. There were a number of others there although none had an ausubaru sticker on them or at least that I saw!
87 targa brumby (Neglected),
92 targa brumby (weekend runabout),
97 Lifted Outback (Dailey drive),
05 outback safety (Too cheap to pass up),
90 model liberty (was to be scrapped instead sold to workmate)
+ others.

Well that puts me out again for this year. It's only 2 weeks before the Albins Goodiwindi 400. Maybe one day I'll get down there.

Which ute do you reckon I should take Tex? The gold one's not registerable.

Anyone know the cost of this event? I'd love to bring sunnie up for the experience... Guess I'll have to get on the job and finish off the interior - the speakers still need to be mounted and the door trips replaced...

Would be an awesome weekend out!!!

Cheers

Hey !

The cost is a bit steep now.. The later you buy tickets the more expensive it gets. I think tickets are around the $125 mark now, for one adult. They have family deals and the like. Check it out on the website.
It is a BRILLIANT weekend.. my favourite weekend of the year.. I camp up there the thursday before and usually the sunday after.. spot of fishing.. then drive home on the monday...
Very relaxed casual fun for all weekend !!!
Oh and you wouldnt have to do anything with your car... whatever is pretty when you get there.. wont be pretty by the end of the weekend,
