The SVX looks like its got something in common with the delorian, except that the delorian seems to have a bigger following...

Not sure if I like them yet...

Nice pic of the DMC! When I was in sydney in jan this year we saw one parked outside a mechanics, we were near military rd, that's all I remember in terms of names... There's also one living on the side of Mt Macedon just near me, was lucky enough that one day it drove past us as we rode our bikes up the mt back in high school, we almost fell off our bikes!

I reckon they look sweet, plus they have the "cult" following from Back to the Future Trilogy.

Yeah I like the Delorians too, the fact that they aren't painted (brushed stainless steel) is just so cool :P Apparently there were three made in gold!

They both look like nice cars. What is common with the SVX and the DMC DeLorean12 is that they had the same small window opening, not the doors but the tiny part of the windows that could be wind down. Have a look at the two pictures. Shame the SVX Acylone only came in that stupid fidgity electric 4speed automatic transmission. Would of sold better with a 5speed manual.

I was wondering the Vortex XT6 engine (2.7Liter ER27) was an extention from the 1.8Liter EA82. Does this apply the same with the 3.3Liter SVX, was this an extention from the 2.2Liter EJ22 engine in the Gen1 Liberty's?

Some guy was selling a nice white SVX in Busselton a little while ago 90000km on it and it was selling for 14k, a good buy for someone who loves there old Subaru coupes.

Thats a nice looking SVX there. Would be nice if Subaru began designing cars like this once again.

Pretty much, only the EG33 had a variable intake, twin knock sensors and a higher comp ratio. >> Read me for more info <<

I read about a Gold DMC DeLorean somewhere. Some Texas millionare owns it and its for show in a glass casing either in Houston Texas, or in Las Vegas Nevada. I wonder if the car would start up if someone where to ever put some petrol in the fuel tank.

That EG33 engine sounds very high tech for its time. I wonder how it goes againest the current 3.0R Flat 6, or possibly the new 3.6Liter Flat six used in that ugly looking Triberica thingy(current face lift looks better than the last one i guess:???:).

And is probabily a better design with one exhaust port per cylinder, as opposed to the ER27 that had 4 ports to 6 cylinders- two that were shared by two cylinders to each with the rear (?) ports only looking after one cylinder, giving the engine a total of 4 exhuast ports to the 6 cylinders...

Cheers
