outback struts ina liberty
i see that putting outback struts into a liberty is a popular move. why is that the case , is there anything wrong with the standard lib struts. why are the outbacks so good for this model car.

after about 25" tyres your rear struts will hit the tyres in most cases.
people have played with all sorts of combinations over the years to get extra height / tyre clearance, the early outback struts are definately the best option

use gen2 (96 - 98) outback struts and springs front and rear.
also you want to get your hands on the gen2 outback trailing arm mounts. These are $50 new from subaru and will put your rear wheel back where its supposed to be in the arch.
I have seen Gen3 front struts used with AWD liberty springs. The rears would take some work though
