LOL
See what I am up against.
If the hole aint big enough it is the position of the repair.
Anything is possible though.
Gave her a scrub, degrease and oil change today.
I do want to fix her up to register it.

The motor runs incrediably well, it is rocker noisy but I can adjust the valve clearances eaily.

Getting so hard to see the old girls on the road these days, it would be sad to see it parted :(

I vote to keep her alive :)

once had a Valiant in the family that came from a concreter, and that concreter brought some master repair skills with him from the old country for rust holes like that. Started with a stuffing of newspaper then some left over - er ???? slab/driveway/footpath :) Had to be seen to be believed with the finish !

Thats nothing, my father in law once used bread, plasticine and masking tape to patch a rust hole the size of ya fist. The funniest part was that it actually fooled the rego inspector and passed with flying colours.

My grandfather pulled off a year after year inspection with a white painted piece of cardboard hiding a decent hole in his plenum for fresh air above the firewall. Did not twig to it myself for a while :)

I know how that feels! And I'm sure if it's not other projects, it's work or something!

Well we got the alloy checkerplate floor fitted into the trailer. SO Wanda will get some lovin tomorrow.

shouted myself a toolex blast pot.
https://www.gasweld.com.au/products/592541 I am very impressed.
and gave it a test run today, it seems to use less air for the same result as my little baster.
I have a full day of blasting cutting and welding planned for Wanda tomorrow.
She is already up on ramps with stands in place. blast pot filled and tools at the ready.

My air supply is a 15cfm Stanley and 17cfm Toolex compressores in paralell with an extra 50L tank situated right beside the blast pot. This is so if there are any losses in the long lines cause the compressers are in my shed, the extra tank will act as a header or balast.
