Post by Suby Roo » Thu Apr 17, 2008 8:59 am

One question..

Are the AWD 5 speed, Dual range gearbox out of a 92 liberty meant to make a slight whine all the time??

Cheers

Does this damage the Box at all after a while? Or should it be fixed?

that would be the top shaft rear bearing last i priced one $160-180 i think
when it starts to rattle on deceleration its stuffed

and the whole box has to come apart to change it

As above, i have seen many that are only just a bearing and fall apart when the box is split
