weird probs in auto trans

1998 liberty silver anniversary: when driving in hills in Perth the transmission was changing erraticly, when back down at see level seemed to be normal. anyone had similar problems? Johnno

low fluid level. have you checked it?

would only effect you on the hills if the level was low.

Could be driving style, have you driven on long inclines in the hills much before?
With the extra load the car will be much more eager to kick down a gear with only slight extra pressure on the accellerator...
