Post by steptoe » Mon Jan 07, 2008 8:14 pm

has anyone used these aluminium brazing rods sold at trade fairs or field days etc.

ooh better than me describe...

never had time to try mine out, so now need to practise before I attempt to fuse a cast aluminum adapter to my EA82T throttle body for my LPG project

first no no dont paint were u want to weld

use stainless wire brush . marked alloy welding only and keep it away from other people. welding job to be clean

realy do what the instructions say to the t

its expencive to lern but if you want alloy welding or soldering as it realy is its the way to go

ive patched my tinny, made a vacuum head for the suck truck (out of road signs)built up a propp

nothing beats a mig or tig. but if yo u do it as much as that sales bloke does it would be easy
