USMB thread on sectioned and modified ER27 heads .

Post by discopotato03 » Mon Dec 10, 2007 4:25 pm

Hi all , I stumbled on this gem of a thread today about a fellow in the US who cut up an ER27 head for porting potential .
I am about to have this done to a pair of dead EA82T heads (thanks Gee) so pics and details of a head casing is most welcome . He even has a pic of an EA82 NA piston cut in half to measure its crown thickness .

BTW if anyone can donate a dead EA82T piston or cut it in half along the godgeon pin line and post pics this would tell me lots too . I really need to know if the ring lands are the same with turbo and non turbo pistons .

Anyhow enjoy .
