It is never ending with old Cheap Grief. The brakes no feel up to scratch, so i bleed them. NOW fluid is leaking out the back of BMC, down the booster and trickling down to Earth.
Went to get a kit - not in stock - and there is 2 choices of kit, one for n/a drum brake rear or the turbo disc brake all round which is what is likely to be on mine.
Looking at factory manual for 86 models the BMC is the same all through the range, stepped bore 13/16" and 1 " . Did not get a price on either kit yet. Would like to order the right one and was not able to find out the differences at that time.
Any clues any body ?
I have one BMC out of a later auto n/a and it also looks the same externally.
L Series Brake master cylinders inc Turbo
cant see it being very different either way
are u trying to get a Overhaul Kit for em instead of just a unit?
id just go for the whole unit
but obviously u have checked the Rear Wheel Cylinders and shoes and Drums first (even tho the MC is leaking lol)

My subie parts man [who sometimes learns something new from me] says they are all the same up to '89. I have found the 85 & 87 have a grub screw holding the inner piston in place. My other MC does not, but looked the best so have swapped it in. Prior to the swap I used a brake test meter on it and got a really healthy reading. The different MC now has a real front brake bite to it. Will do a test on it later to see how it comes up !
