Found Aus Vortex Spider Turbo Full Time donor car .

Post by discopotato03 » Tue Jul 03, 2007 9:31 am

Hi all , I believe these are a rare find and have all the good gear aside from the full time box being single range . I still don't know what the Vortexes lock control looks like and if it fits the L series console but hopeful . At least this will be a matching set of components and work as the factory intended .

Fingers itching already , cheers A .

I am so envious right now.

Good find though. I don't think the console or dash parts that match the diff lock will be the same, might have to source one from somewhere else.

Cheers

Yes I'm going to have to wait and see what the switch and surround looks like - actually there is a WSM around somewhere but probably not turbo . I should be able to fit the switch into the console if its not too bulky .

I'm looking forward to having 1 matching set of engine/gearbox and electricals to run it all and being an Aus delivered car has our ADR compliance . I want the plate if I can get it .

Cheers A .

owner don't know how much he wants for his FWD EFI EA82, so I left it at that. If it was turbo awd I woulda had to save it from the crusher, or his sister. Even though they look alright after twenty something years I got no room for it.
